Balance mind and body: how can Nature help?

When your vital functions are not in full working order and health, or you have a high charge of negative energy or stress, your body starts to fight for its survival.

In this fight, your organs start to work harder than necessary, generating imbalances that are manifested through physical, emotional or mental illnesses.

You can even ignore the signs and symptoms that may be present in your routine, however, in the long term, the imbalance increases, which can worsen your general health and force a stop.

That is, what today is a mild or moderate discomfort, can make you sick and fall out of bed!

Balance mind and body: how can Nature help?
Is there a solution beyond Traditional Medicine? Yes!

Nature has solutions (plants, herbs, flowers, fruits) with physical and spiritual therapeutic properties that, when they come into contact with your soul, will begin to balance your being, alleviate your discomforts and bring you more quality of life.

All this together with Traditional Medicine, in an integrative way, seeking to balance your body and mind as a whole.

And how can Nature do this?

Here are three ways you can use Nature to balance your body and mind:

1. Physical contact
At least once a month, try to be in physical contact, in person, with nature – whether walking through a square or park, visiting a beach, a place, a farm, or working in a vegetable garden, garden or pots at home.

When you are in contact with nature, feel the freshness of the wind hitting your face, the aromas of the earth, plants, flowers, the temperature and texture of the earth, sand, sea and ask Mother Earth to help you. to forward your challenges, in a very gentle and loving way.

You don't have to go out hugging trees in public, just take a few minutes at least once a month to feel Nature, relax and connect with it, in a respectful way.

That is: at the same time that Nature will welcome you and take care of you, take care of Nature too.

Don't leave trash in the places you visit, take care of plants at home, preserve trees and vegetation in your community.

2. Visualization
You can also have picture frames of nature, vases at home, or practice Guided Meditation by visualizing images of Nature, such as sounds of water, birds and winds.

Visualizing nature relaxes the brain, calms the soul, brings feelings of peace and tranquility and also increases focus and concentration.

Try placing images of nature in your home and practice guided meditation at least once a week.

Guided Meditations can be done by professionals, like me, Meditation Instructors, with themes where you will walk along beaches, fields, gardens, and feel the force of Nature relaxing your body, mind and soul.

3. Integrative treatment
With the help of an Integrative Therapist like me, you can use herbs, plants, flowers and fruits in your everyday life to support physical, emotional and mental challenges.

Through active listening, the therapist will understand your balance needs and will recommend integrative treatments, such as the use of essential oils, teas, food and baths.

Each person has different needs and complexities, so it is important that treatments are personalized.

Also, treatments are used in conjunction with other treatments that you may already be using.

Each herb, plant, flower and fruit has physical and spiritual therapeutic properties that will put your body, mind and spirit in balance.

Unlike an allopathic treatment, in traditional medicine, the effects may not be immediate, however, little by little, according to your permission, they will act on all your cells, providing balance in life and in your being.

The forms of use range from drinking tea, self-massage with essential oils to baths or home-made foot baths.

In addition to balancing your body, these are solutions that you can have at home to do according to your routine and schedule, in an autonomous and practical way.
